**Project Overview:**
We are a baby product company launching a new line of baby plates aimed at toddlers and preschoolers. We are seeking a talented packaging designer who can also manage the project. The focus is on e-commerce, specializing in packaging for baby products.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create attractive and safe packaging and insert cards that appeals to our target audience.
- Carefully select materials suitable for the purpose and budget.
- Oversee the project to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain communication with suppliers, manufacturers, and other relevant parties.
**Ideal Candidate Experience:**
- Designing packaging for e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in creating packaging for baby products.
- Understanding the needs and preferences of toddlers and preschoolers.
- Proven project management skills in packaging design.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
**Additional Requests:**
1. **Concept Development:** Generate innovative packaging concepts reflecting our brand and appealing to parents and caregivers.
2. **Layout Design:** Design packaging layouts including essential product information.
3. **Variations and Customization:** Create packaging variations for different product sizes and designs.
4. **Barcode Placement and Integration:** Strategically place barcodes and necessary information on the packaging.
5. **Collaboration with Animator:** Work closely with the animator to ensure packaging aligns with digital representations.
6. **Material Selection and Sustainability:** Recommend environmentally friendly materials.
7. **Size Determination and Structural Design:** Determine optimal size and dimensions for packaging.
8. **Prototype Creation and Testing:** Create prototypes for visualization and usability testing.
9. **User-Centric Design:** Conduct user research to create packaging resonating with our audience.
10. **Supply Chain Considerations:** Ensure packaging design is compatible with manufacturing processes and logistics workflows.
11. **Brand Storytelling:** Use packaging to communicate brand values and mission.
12. **Social and Environmental Responsibility:** Integrate messaging promoting social and environmental responsibility.
13. **Sensory Experience Enhancement:** Explore opportunities to enhance sensory experience through packaging.
