Contest Brief

I am in need of a skilled illustrator to create a realistic cover for my book: Our Life. Can’t live in fear forever. It’s about twin boys named Ryder and Ranger who have been abused. Ranger has Autism, but Ryder doesn’t. I'm looking for illustrations that primarily convey everyday life and simplicity, with minimal background detail, to maintain a focus on the characters. I need deep, powerful, meaningful drawings.

Key Requirements:
-Realistic Drawing Style: The illustrations should be detailed and realistic, reflecting the characters and their environment authentically.
- Emotion Conveyance: The primary emotion the illustrations should convey is the simplicity and beauty of everyday life.
- Autism Representation Sensitivity: An understanding of Autism and the ability to sensitively represent it in one of the characters is crucial. Ranger also has a white and light brown stuffed dog named Buddie. in this book, they are Eleven years old.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Realistic Illustrations: Previous work in creating realistic drawings is necessary.
- Sensitivity to the Subject Matter: An understanding of Autism and experience in representing it in illustrations is highly valuable.

-Description: the twins have spiky upright brown hair and brown eyes. Ranger is wearing a plain Royal blue and black jacket with tan pants and Royal blue and black shoes. He has scars on both his hands. He has one freckle on the Ryder wears a Plain red and black jacket and Royal blue pants. Also Royal blue pants. I want the cover to sort of look like this: Ryder is peeking his head out from behind his bedroom door looking at Ranger who is against the wall with his head in his knees. He has his arms covering his head. A little bit blood is running down his arm. (NOT ALOT!) The dad is standing over him yelling while holding up a rag.
